Undead & Unbothered (Introduction)
Welcome to Undead and Unbothered.
A blog for the overlooked, the over-it, and the just-trying-to-survive-the-afterlife (or this life) crowd.
Here, you'll find pep talks with bite—delivered by a rotating group of grim reapers in training, often known as G.R.I.T.s. (Yes the acronym is weird, and no we are not changing it). These aren’t your average motivational quotes wrapped in fuzzy pastel clouds and smothered in lollypops. Nah. Doesn’t go with our grim reaper vibe. These are raw, funny, sometimes rude, but always honest, reminders that even if the world (or the afterlife) acts like you’re invisible, you’re still here. And no matter if you’re walking, sitting, crying, or screaming your way through it this life, just being here counts for a lot.
You’ll hear from:
Marge, who will give you the best hug and call out the universe’s nonsense while sharpening her scythe.
Tariq, who’s trying to outmaneuver Lady Death’s guards with sarcasm and barely keeping his shadow under control.
Grannis, who has rope, a hug waiting for anyone who needs patching up, and peppermints (warning most have lint stuck to them).
Wesley, who has trust issues, stone powers, and large storage of shade that’s ready to be dished out.
Ossie, who is a literal skull and still manages to outsmart most reapers.
And the occasional ghost, siren, rebel, or rogue reapers who slipped through the cracks and has opinions that just couldn’t be contained. Who knows maybe even Lady Death will make an appearance.
Whether you're dealing with self-doubt, bad vibes, toxic systems, or just another gosh darn Tuesday—these posts are here to remind you that:
You are not broken.
You are not alone.
You are worthy of taking up space
And the reaper system can mind its business.
Think of this as your unofficial guide to surviving your worst days with grit, grace, and just enough petty to keep things interesting.
So read a note from your favorite undead friends. Take a breath. And no matter what, keep going.
This life (and the afterlife) might be a mess, but you?
You’re just getting started.
New posts drop when the clock strikes thirteen. Or whenever we feel like it.
